Cancel before midnight on the fifth business day after your insurer's written notice that all or part isn't covered.

Payments must be returned within 10 business days after the contractor receives your cancellation.

Roofers can't negotiate your claim

A contractor can't represent you or negotiate for you on an insurance claim.

3 days for door to door sales

Under the federal Cooling Off Rule, most sales of $25 or more made at your home can be cancelled within 3 business days.

Violations are unfair practices under the Missouri Merchandising Practices Act. You can file a complaint with the Missouri Attorney General.
